MAJOR HOTEL FRANCHISE CONFIRMS: INNSIGHT OPENS THE BEST HOTELS
Hillsboro, Oregon – InnSight Hotel Management Group executes the very best practices in the opening process of its hotels. So says Marriott International at its annual convention for hoteliers recently held in Florida. InnSight got the nod as 2004’s “Best Opening Hotel of the Year” for its SpringHill Suites hotel in Hillsboro, Oregon.

Marriott says the SpringHill Suites’ opening in April 2004 demonstrated InnSight’s exceptional performance in construction readiness and design compliance, meeting design standards while opening on deadline, minimizing follow-up items after opening, and coordinating employee and guest expectations.

This is the fourth Marriott overseen by InnSight’s development partner Sycan B Corp. VP of Development Tim Hovet says the bar for performance is high. “Marriott has some of the toughest standards of any franchisor in the industry,” he says. “This award confirms what we’ve learned over the past ten years of developing hotels - we know what we’re doing, and we do it well.”

SpringHill Suites’ general manager Terry Goldman says the award truly recognizes the team effort it takes to successfully open and manage a hotel. “From getting the structure built and equipped, to hiring and training the opening staff, and delivering superior guest service even in the early stages of operation – it would have been impossible to win this award without the highly skilled, experienced and motivated individuals throughout this organization.”

SpringHill Suites also had the best Quality Assurance inspection for the Western Region in 2004, more proof that hotels managed by InnSight are a cut above the rest.
