GOLDMAN NAMED GENERAL MANAGER OF SPRINGHILL SUITES BY MARRIOTT
Hillsboro, Oregon - I am pleased to announce that Exeter Hospitality has added a skilled and talented General Manager to its ranks. Terry Goldman comes to Exeter with a great deal of experience in the Portland and Hillsboro areas with the Marriott brand. Terry will be heading up the newly built SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Hillsboro when it opens in April 2004.

Terry’s most recent experience has been as Director of Sales at the Residence Inn by Marriott in Portland, where he was overseeing the sales and marketing efforts for a 258-suite hotel with more than 3,000 square feet of meeting space. Prior to that, Terry managed the sales, marketing and event efforts of the inside and outside sales staff for 413 rooms in three leading Marriott hotels in the Hillsboro market – Residence Inn, Courtyard and TownePlace Suites.

Terry has progressed in his career from a Bachelor of Arts in Hotel Restaurant Administration to Front Office Manager, Director of Housekeeping, Operations Manager, and then into Sales.

Terry has been a key player at hotels that have achieved top recognition for outstanding guest service, and he intends to bring that level of quality performance to Exeter Hospitality as a General Manager.

Terry is already involved with the pre-opening arrangements for SpringHill Suites, as of Monday, December 8. Please join me in welcoming him to the Exeter team.
