LOCAL OWNERS AND CITY OFFICIALS JOIN TO CUT RIBBON FOR CENTRAL POINT’S FIRST HOTEL
The first hotel in Central Point will open its doors to the public this week. To celebrate, the ownership of the hotel – Hotel Investment Property Two, LLC – will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony for the Fairfield Inn & Suites on Thursday, August 2nd at 10:00 AM. The event is open to all media and the public, and will include tours of the property, champagne and light refreshments.

Hotel Investment Property Two, LLC is a partnership of property owners from the Medford/Central Point community, and an experienced Oregon hotel developer. The local owners say they were waiting for the right opportunity to develop the property, and are excited to be bringing quality lodging under the Marriott name to Southern Oregon.

The Central Point City Council and Chamber of Commerce are helping to coordinate the event. Exeter Hospitality Associates, LLC will provide the management of the hotel, and Executive VP Patrick McShane says he is thrilled to see the City of Central Point so excited about the opening. “I was so pleased when Planning Director Tom Humphrey called ME to see how they could help us,” McShane says. “We are eager to get the doors open and start welcoming guests as warmly as we have been welcomed in the community.”

Fairfield Inn & Suites is an extension of Marriott International’s Fairfield Inn brand. The new concept includes a variety of upgrades and enhanced room amenities at an affordable price. The 68-room hotel offers roughly 25 uniquely designed suites with additional amenities, including a sitting area with couch and coffee table, in-room coffee service, ergonomic desk chairs, hair dryer, a second telephone, microwaves, CD players, and mini refrigerators. The hotel also features an indoor swimming pool and whirlpool spa, an exercise room, fax and copy service, valet laundry service, free local phone calls and satellite TV. A complimentary continental breakfast is available each morning in the lobby area.
