NEW MEDFORD-AREA HOTEL FITS THE BILL

The new concept – which includes a variety of upgrades and enhanced room amenities at an affordable price – is coming to the Medford area soon.

The new prototype offers an expanded lobby, and uniquely designed suites with additional amenities, including a sitting area with couch and coffee table, in-room coffee service, ergonomic desk chairs, hair dryer, a second telephone, microwaves, CD players, and mini refrigerators. An average of 30-percent of the rooms at each Fairfield Inn & Suites property are suites rather than standard guest rooms. “We are excited to introduce the Fairfield Inn & Suites concept to the market,” says Fairfield Inn brand VP Nick Kellock. “With these improvements, Fairfield has a strong future as an innovative brand, offering lodging and hospitality services that exceed the expectations of value-conscious travelers.”

The Medford Fairfield Inn & Suites in Central Point, Oregon is scheduled to open on August 1, 2001. The 68-room hotel will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned by Hotel Investment Property Two, LLC; and managed by Exeter Hospitality Associates, Inc. The lower-to-moderate priced brand was launched in 1987, and continues its growth with an average of 35-40 hotel openings each year.

With the airport, family fun center, and fairgrounds all less than 1 mile away, the Medford Fairfield Inn & Suites offers convenience and accessibility at a moderate price. The hotel features an indoor swimming pool and whirlpool spa, an exercise room, fax and copy service, valet laundry service, free local phone calls and satellite TV. A complementary continental breakfast is available each morning in the lobby area.
