• Associates at the Fairfield Inn & Suites participated in Clean Up the World Day 2007 by collecting 43 trash bags (1290 gallons) in adjacent protected wetlands and wildlife habitat.

• A team of associates participated in American Cancer Society’s 2007 Relay for Life and raised $3190.

• A team of associates raised $2,242.11 for the American Cancer Society at the June 2006 Relay for Life walk-a-thon. Money was raised through a car wash, rummage sale, bake sale and individual donations.

Residence Inn by Marriott
Eugene/Springfield

• The Residence Inn hosted the Hershey Kissmobile June12-16, 2006 to help raise money for the Children's Miracle Network. Associates and guests raised $244.50 at a karaoke fundraiser. All proceeds will benefit Sacred Heart Hospital in Eugene, one of 170 hospitals in the Network.
  
  
• On Sunday June 18, 2006 volunteers from the Residence Inn assisted Greenhill Humane Society for the afternoon.
  
  
• On October 1, 2006, Residence Inn GM ran the Portland Marathon. Throughout the summer she collected pledges and donations to benefit Children's Miracle Network.

• Comfort Suites participated in the America's Walk for Diabetes in October of 2006. A team of associates raised funds for the 5 mile walk.
